Last weekend, I stopped by GAP to check out some of their torn denim and I came across these bleached dyed denim. Who knew denim would become such a huge trend twenty years later! When I was younger, I lived in jeans jackets, jean skirts and white denim. So I'm really looking forward to wearing this trend this season. If you're looking to update your denim collection with a trendy new pair and don't want to pay designer prices, I highly recommend checking out the denim from GAP and/or Zara. Both places have a huge selection and whenever GAP has a 40% sale, you can't really beat buying a pair of jeans for $35! Since the summer is quickly approaching, I'm getting together all my DIY ideas. I think bleached dyed denim is going to be on that list. For my DIY experiments, I typically pick up jeans at consignment stores.

It's spring and I'm back to wearing my favorite pencil skirt from J.Crew. This skirt is a mix between gold and mustard yellow. It's been a staple in my closet for a few years. I mostly wear it with different variations of blue, like here. A colorful skirt is an easy way to bring color to the office and still look professional, so don't let bright colors scare you this season. They'll look great on you! If you are a little hesitant on wearing bright colors to work, try this button down shirt from Ann Taylor, which I wore here. It's not your typically oxford shirt. It's comfortable and the material is soft and stretchy.

After wearing this outfit, I realized I'm in need of a nude handbag. My Fendi 2Jour handbag, turns 1 year old in August and I still have very little signs of wear and tear on this bag! It's incredible. I'm almost inclined to save up and get the same bag in nude. Let me know if anyone has any recommendations on a good work handbag...that's nude and big enough to fit my laptop and accessories.

It's April 1st and time to bring out all your favorite soft pastel pieces! Here are a few pieces to update your daily spring wardrobe and your everyday 9-5 outfits. This season I'm a huge fan on mixing pastels and neutrals.

What so great about these pieces is that they can be mixed with denim, faux leather and lots of accessories. If you're typically not a "pastel" girl, try out one piece this season. You'll be surprised how much you enjoying wearing the soft color this season.
