Last weekend, while in Kansas City, I found some time to do a little shopping with my mom. After picking me up from the airport, we headed to Macy’s to check out their sales. I’ve been lusting over these Tory Burch sandals, but I can’t seem to find them in my size. These MichaelKors wedge sandals are a great alternative, especially with 25% off! I also picked up this Maison Jules, which will look great with my new fedora.

These pale pink pants and silk cami are currently two of my favorite work wear pieces. When I first tried on these pants I wasn’t a huge fan of the side zipper, but they fit me perfectly around the waist and the leg length works.  The silk cami was an investment piece, but it was worth every penny. It can be worn under a blazer for a polished and professional look.

After finishing out a successful Q1 at work, I packed my bags and headed to Kansas City to visit my family and friends. Friday morning I managed to wake up at 4am, throw a few key pieces in my suitcase and head out the door. These white high waist skinny jeans are essential when I travel, especially during warmer months. A classic black and white stripe shirt always makes it in my suitcase when I travel. These pointed Zara flats are both versatile and comfy. This long button down shirt from J.Crew is quickly becoming my favorite piece.A colorful scarf and fedora are two ways to change an outfit with minimal effort.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Thank you so much for everyone who commented on my EcoTools giveaway. Head over to Snapchat {CorporatCatwalk} to see the winner! My niece helped my drawl names. Be sure to follow along on Snapchat to see the rest of my adventure in Kansas City.

Giveaway | EcoTools Complexion Collection

I'm excited to announce for the next several months, I'm collaboration with EcoTool to share their collections of cosmetic accessories and bath and body products. All products are renewable, animal cruelty-free and made from recyclable materials. What's so great about the collection I'm featuring today, each brush sold from the new Complexion Collection®, EcoTools will donate $1 to Global Green USA

Global Green USA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing smart solutions to climate change and building a sustainable future, a cause I’m very passionate about.

As most of you know, April is Earth Month. Throughout the month, EcoTools has been sharing tips via social media on how to go green. You can also share your own tips to help inspire others using hashtag #EcoInspire. For my household, taking public transportation and unsubscribing to snail mail are a few of the things we do to contribute to going green.

The Complexion Collection contains of 4 brushes; Skin Perfecting Brush, Eye Perfecting BrushMattifying Finish Brush and the Correcting Concealer Brush. They're currently running a bundle promotion for 15% off the retail value of $29.

I've been using the Mattifying Finish Brush and the Correcting Concealer Brush on a daily basis. For someone like myself, who works in the corporate world, I don't have the time in the morning for a full face routine.  However, these are great brushes to have in your collection when you want to apply full coverage for a night out with friends.

Above: I'm using the Correcting Concealer Brush to cover any blemishes on my face. I tend to get more blemishes in the summer, this is a great tool to use to minimize using your hands to coverup spots.
BEAUTY_2
Above: The Eye Perfecting Brush is a great way to coverup my dark circles around my eyes. I use MAC concealer for full coverage under my eyes.

Above: The Mattifying Finish Brush is one of the brushes I use daily. The brush is lightweight and not harsh on my skin. Previously, I was using a finishing brush that irritated my skin.

Above: The final result! The brushes give me the ability to have an even skin tone and full coverage. After these steps, I'd contour and add additional makeup for a complete look.

To kickoff this collaboration with EcoTools, we're giving away a Complexion Collection bundle. To enter for a chance to win, please comment below on how you're contributing to going green. The giveaway starts on Wednesday, April 29th at 6pm EST till Friday, May 1st at 6pm EST.

Thank you for everyone who entered the contest! Congrats to Jessica for winning the giveaway. Please email me at thecorporatecatwalk@gmail.com.
