If you're not one to get dolled up for Easter Sunday, here's a casual look to wear to brunch and Easter egg hunting with your loved ones. The look might be a little too dressed down for church, but great for more casual gatherings. Hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends!
Since we're far away from our family, we're heading to DUMBO (with Batman) on Saturday to have coffee and donuts in the park and Sunday we're going to cook a big Easter brunch!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I'm on my flight back to New York after a fun weekend in San Francisco with my dad. I really enjoyed seeing him experienced a boat ride around the Bay, an In-N-Out burger and the Super Bowl for the first time. I feel blessed to have had the time together. Now it's back to work and time to start planning for NYFW!
Today I'm sharing a casual weekend or after work outfit. The top I'm wearing is from Club Monaco, it's a little difficult to see, but has sheer billowy sleeves. It's an elegant style that can be worn to work and on the weekends. It's an investment piece, but it's a top that you'll reach for when you feel like you have nothing to wear (fits true to size).
As for the oversize military coat, this is another one of my favorite trends for the season. I'm petite, but I love an oversized coats with distressed denim. It's a practical outfit to wear on the weekends and/or running errands after work. If I were running around the city, I'd switched out the boots for these sneakers.
Wishing everyone a Happy Monday at work! It's always difficult going back to the office after a long holiday weekend. One of the best parts about Thanksgiving, though, is that once it's over, it's already December and then you're into the New Year.
Today I'm sharing a look I wore last Wednesday to the office. It was a casual day at work, since most people would be either out of the office or leaving early. The cable knit sweater was comfy and the dark wash denim was still appropriate to wear to the office... the perfect combo!
I'm so happy J.Crew created this Regent Coat... it's the coat version of the Regent blazers which are my favorite, especially in the fall (I own two!). The coat's high collar and clean, sleek look are the best parts. I'm wearing a size 2P in these photos, and they only have a few size available, but keep your eye on the website if your size is currently unavailable! They update availability on a daily basis.
For Cyber Monday, I'm picking up two things: a white cami from J.Crew (here's a similar one at J.Crw Factory) and a oversize stripe turtleneck from J.Crew Factory. I bought the same cami 6 months ago, and after wearing it on a weekly basis, it's time for a new one. The only negative thing about the cami is that it's silk, and thus very delicate. It's supposed to be dry cleaned, which can get expensive. Anyways, the top NEVER goes on sale, so I'm getting it while it's 30% off.
This season, fringe is one of the most loved trends; from backpacks to leather jacket. As much as I'd love to own a leather fringe jacket, for my style it's unlikely I'd wear it often this season. These grey suede heels from Schutz are a great way for me to incorporate the trend in my closet, while complimenting my wardrobe. The Kija heels are part of the Schutz Shoe's Spring and Summer collection. They come in a few other colors. Check them out here.
Several people have asked about the bag I'm wearing. It's from Zara. The bag is great for the office or after hours. It has good structure and lots of room inside the bag. Only downside, there's a front clasp and it sometimes gets stuck. Other than that, I love the bag. It's a good replacement for a nude bag during the spring and summer.
Over the weekend I tried FlyWheel for the first time and I loved it! I use to take spin classes when I lived in California, but it's been a while. So I was a little rusty...and slow. It's been a real struggle to get back to the gym, so signing up for group classes has helped me get back on track. Ever since I started working back in an office, not to mention an office with an abundance of snacks and food, I've found myself snacking more often than usual. Tomorrow I'm reaching for the carrots, not the chips!
