Good morning everyone. I'm so happy to be back. I've missed you! So now that I'm back, I'm excited to share our engagement photos with you. This is Part 1 one of the photos. I've had lots of family, friends and readers ask to see our photos, so I thought the best way for everyone to see as many pics as possible, I'd break it up in two parts.
When we got engaged in July, we knew we wanted to take photos in two places; Grand Central and Central Park. These are two of our favorite places in New York. While scouring the internet one night and three glasses of wine deep, I came across beautiful photos in Grand Central. I quickly clicked through t to find the mastermind behind these photos...Angelica Criscuolo Photography. After a few phone calls, I knew she was the one!
One early Saturday morning in October, we met in front of Grand Central and the party started! From the first shot, she amazed me with her expertise and ability interact with both of us behind the camera. Three hours later we wrapped up the session and we got hundreds of beautiful memories all over New York.
Deciding on what to wear was really difficult. I felt my outfit needed to be fashionable and trendy. While getting my nails done, a good friend asked me, "Do you really want berry color nail? Don't you want something timeless and classic? Like red?"
That's how I decided to go with this basic black dress and nude heels. The outfit was elegant and classy and didn't take away from "us". I'd highly recommend having a solid color dress. I know it seems boring, but that's why you have Instagram and Facebook! Post all your bright colorful patterns on those pages. Keep it simple.
Hope you enjoyed the photos! Next Monday I'll post the second set of photos.
