Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! We've spent most of the weekend cleaning up around the house. After the wedding we're going to redecorate the apartment. It's all I can think about, even with our wedding 19 days away. I think it's good distracting me from the stress and anxiety of our wedding. Nonetheless, we're going to buy a few more plants for the house, paint, do some cool DIY projects and make a few trips to my favorite thrift stores in NYC. You'd be so surprised what you can find at thrift stores and craigslist. Looking forward to sharing all the new home decor pieces. On Saturday I posted an apartment photos on Instagram, check it out here.
Not sure if you can tell by the photos, but I'm in love with the overall trend. At first I was a little hesitant to buy a pair, but for only $30 these overalls from H&M were such a small investment, I had to get myself a pair! Since I'm a shorty, I had to hem the bottom by 4 inches. So if you're petite like me, be ready to take these to a tailor or hem them yourself. If you have a sewing machine, I'd recommend hemming them on your own. Last night I picked up a pair of overall shorts. These will look cute with sandals this summer, excited to show you the look! These overalls from Free People are next on the "to buy" list.
